Chef Isabel's Cochinita Pibil is among a venue of favorites, and is a delight for the more adventuresome palates. In pre-Columbian times, pibes were stone-lined pits and the cochinitas were the little piglets cooked in them. Originated in the Yucatan, this savory pork dish, with a red onion and achiote chili sauce, is served with camote (sweet portatoes) and black beans on a banana leaf.

The on-premise restaurant, Chez Elena, is just one of the many charming surprises awaiting at Los Cuatro Vientos!! Once inside, you'll want to walk up to the Rooftop Terrace (El Nido) where you will enjoy an incredible view of the entire City and Bay. If you do care to imbibe, start with a Margarita, once extolled in Playboy magazine as the finest in Puerto Vallarta. Or try our refreshing house drink, "The Green Flash."
Our restaurant and the rooftop bar make it easy to relax and stay on premise when tired and still have everything you need. Hotel guests receive a 10% discount at our bar El Nido as well as our restaurant Chez Elena. A courtesy buffet breakfast is served in our garden patio from 8:00 to 10:30 each morning from October through May. The hotel has an intimate, welcoming feel and children of all ages are welcome. Guests tend to be interesting, diverse and from all walks of life and different parts of the world... people who appreciate something "different".
